Waggyk9tails grooming offers you and your dog a personal, loving, caring and reliable experience. We understand the temperament and needs of every breed, and how to adjust to what they need, however it's not just a case of breed requirements but understanding that every dog is an individual and has their own likes/ dislikes/ feelings. We get to know what their preference is with bathing, drying, their paws, legs, tail, etc. being touched and so on and handle with utmost care and going entirely at the dogs' most comfortable pace, we are here... for them.

We strive to ensure every dog who visits our boutique and salon feels (and looks) like a real VIP, the most important companion in the building (because they are!), it is all about them and their experience. We do not comprise on anything including: the quality of products & equipment used, attention given to each dog one-to-one care, time allowed for each groom.

Specialist for nervous dogs

Your pet will be booked in at an agreed time. We usually aim to complete the grooming session within a maximum of between two and three hours, depending on coat condition, size of the dog etc.

We offer a collection and return service, in your own home or you can come to my home grooming studio.

Bath & Dry from £30

This package will make your pet look good and feel refreshed.

Bathing with warm water and a specialist shampoo

• Towel & blow drying
• Spray of perfume.
• Nails are clipped after coat is quickly combed through.
• Bows

We also do not guarantee the coat is totally dry, and is more suited to very short haired dogs, but the cost is reduced, so ask about this one too!

Bath & Tidy from £40

This package is ideal for intermediate visits between full body clips, or when growing the coat longer for winter.

• Bathing with warm water and a specialist shampoo
• Towel & blow drying
• Trimming around the eyes, feet, rear end, or where necessary, but limited
• Nail pedicure
• Ear cleaning 
• Final comb through
• Bandanna and/or bows

Please note: this package does NOT include a body trim.

Body Clip from £50

​ Our groomers work to a very high standard and are judged continually by our clients. While we have a good knowledge of most breed clips, or styles, we pride ourselves with being able to be flexible to suit every owner. Every dog, just like their owner is an individual. Therefore, you may for example tell us you would like your westie to simply look like a westie. We can certainly achieve this for you, (although sometimes it can take a couple of visits to do this depending on the length of the coat on the original visit. If the coat is to short where it needs to be longer, obviously we all need to wait for it to grow to achieve the desired look). But, you may ask us to trim your westie to the same length all over, or you may prefer him/her to be shorter on the body with a typical westie shaped face and maybe tail as well. The choices are endless and totally up to you.

​​Hand Stripping from £70

Thinning and shortening the dog coat using a stripping knife. This is ideal for terriers with wire-haired coats.

Matt removal (Not Optional)
​£10 per 30 minutes

Matts are knots or clumping of fur, sometimes around foreign matter such as grass seeds and buzzies. To test for matting, comb through your dog’s coat to the skin. The matts tend to form close to the skin, eventually making the dog uncomfortable and can lead to bruising and raw skin. They need to be removed before the bath, often incurring an extra charge.

If your dog has a matted coat, it may be clipped shorter than you would like but our main concern is for the dog’s welfare – this will be explained before grooming begins.

​​Nail Clipping – £15

When your dog walks on a hard surface and you can hear its nails scratching, this might indicate the nails are ready to be clipped.

Emmi pet tooth cleaning

The Emmi pet toothbrush is vibration-free & no actual brushing or scrubbing is necessary. This teeth cleaning system for dogs is very simple, non-invasive, effective & will benefit not only your dog's teeth, but their health in general, as unhealthy teeth & gums will affect the dog's whole body.

Miracle Face Scrub & Natural Tear Stain Treatment is a magical 2-in-1 tear-free, wheat-free face scrub and pH balanced treatment that safely removes dirt and discolorations from the face and ears.
